	ZEKE WOLF leads a detached life of truth, faith, and logic. He’s a salesman at a retail store called Sellwell and is a traditional kind of guy. Business ethics have always been a priority for him. Zeke acts like nobody could break his heart and he has a bad tendency to be judgmental sometimes.
	CHEESKERS WEASEL believes in having as much fun in life as possible and strives for the “good life.” And if he has to break a few rules and drop his credit rating doing that, so what?
	LANCE WOLFGANG is an anti-corporate, low-income bachelor who has worked as a DJ in clubs, but he knows that mixing music doesn’t pay the bills, so his day job is a room service attendant at a hotel. Lance acts like a teenager and no matter what he does, he always has a song in his heart. He would like to go to college someday, but he just can’t afford it. He takes care of his sister Madison.
	MADISON WOLFGANG lives with her older brother Lance in his small apartment. She finds school frustrating both academically and socially. The city has exposed her to drugs and violence, and on top of that, she has to put up with Lance’s boring cooking.
	MITCHELL BANDERSNATCH is a wealthy stockbroker, a great craps player, and lives in a penthouse, but suffers terribly from being misunderstood. People have spread bad rumours about him and have hated him for being rich. Mitchell understands as well as anyone the saying “money doesn’t buy happiness.”
	RUEDIGER K. VON RICHTHOFEN is a European immigrant soccer player who suffers from manic disorder. He has been known to become obsessed with his hobbies and ambitions. When he gets too far carried away with his violent manic episodes, he gets locked up in the mental hospital.
	SAMUELLE is Cheeskers’ genial girlfriend. She likes being active, but also worries about food and makeup. Although Sam appreciates the simple things in life like a ride on the carousel, she always asks for the big presents.
	THE SOCIAL WORKER is involved with (and spies on) the Wolfgang family. Her official duty is to make sure that Madison is being cared for and treated properly in the home. However, it’s her greatest wish to catch Lance in a bad moment to convict him of child mistreatment.
	MEDIA MOGUL, who likes to push his own agenda, is always trying to make up reasons for TV viewers to spend, spend, spend. There are rumors that Media Mogul is working with the Social Worker to bring down the Wolfgang family.
	NATSUMI is Mitchell’s Japanese tutor officially, but is really just a good friend. She is a visitor from Japan who teaches Mitchell how to speak his lousy Japanese properly. She manages to spice things up wherever she goes.
